Abstracts, Workshops and Trainings
Throughout the conference, focus will be on innovation for sustainability in the real-world venues of cities, industry, and agriculture. We will share perspectives and encourage collaboration among the many stakeholders who play a role in how we use water, including municipalities, industrial users, agriculture, policy-makers, regulators, environmental and social organisations, equipment and technology suppliers, consultants, researchers and academicians, financial institutions, and underserved populations.
To cover the possibility of multidisciplinary interaction, parallel talks, workshops and training sessions will be organised, for which we invite you to submit any proposal that fits within the Topics in focus of this conference. We welcome any kind of ideas, information, and suggestions about new incentives, technologies, case studies, and tools available to support innovative and sustainable water use. |
Full paper submission (optional)
Aside from the opportunity of presenting at an international conference, we offer experts the possibility for their abstracts to be considered for a full paper publication in an IWA journal. After official acceptance of your abstract for a presentation at the conference, the corresponding author will be informed about the IWA guidelines for formal paper submission in an IWA journal (either an ongoing journal or a conference-related Special Issue) in relation to the presentation.
Guidelines
Abstracts should follow the instructions clarified in the provided template (click here) and will only be considered after registration of the presenting author. Abstracts should be submitted before 01 July 2019 and will be reviewed by our programme committee. Authors with withheld abstracts will be notified after 01 August 2019, along with information on being assigned a general talk, flash presentation or poster. Request for a specific presentation type will not be considered by the committee.
Workshops proposal are recommended to follow the same instructions as provided in the Abstract template (click here), though have more flexibility towards content and length of the proposal, yet concise workshop proposals are preferred.
